Experience the joy of swing dancing from the 20s and 30s during a Lindy Hop workshop!
Join us on the 12th of June to learn the basics of Lindy Hop. Lindy Hop is a form of swing dance from to 1920s-1930s, usually performed to jazz music. It is a swinging and cheerful partner dance that originated in jazz clubs and ballrooms. It is the forerunner of boogie woogie and rock ānā roll, and there are also similarities with salsa and ballroom dancing.
The workshop is open to all levels, so no prior experience is needed!
To make sure everyone has a partner, we recommend to sign up as a couple. You have to subscribe separately, but write your partner’s name as a comment on your subscription. If you can’t find a partner, please mention this in the comment. We’ll try to match leaders with followers.
The workshop is only open for members and students. Non-members are also welcome to join as long as they are a student.
