Demoteams
These are the demoteams of E.S.D.V. Footloose. To join one of our demoteams, you have to audition at the start of the semester during the open class weeks.
Gravitate – HipHop Demo Team
The HipHop Demo Team is part of our classes, but as a group also perform on a variety of events. The group consists of experienced dancers, with their own Team Captain Tomas, who are trained by our HipHop teacher Jeroen Groot. To join this group you have to audition.
The Demo Team prepares for competitions every year as well as performances like the DDE (Demo Dance Evening) and Showcase.
Salsa Rica y Sabrosa – Demo Team
THE Salsa Demo Team of Footloose!! With rich and tasty salsa moves, this demo team is dedicated to perform on events and shows. It is also part of the regular Footloose classes, as the highest salsa level, but with a little extra sass and cool stunts. The team first performed at the Showcase of 2023, where a group of dedicated salsa lovers worked their hardest to perform a very challenging choreography in all shiny outfits. Coming years we plan to perform on many more occasions under the guidance of Rinus Cannegieter! You have to audition to join the demo team, but don't worry! Hard work and determination gets you far 🙂
KOBRA – Feminine Demo Team
This year marked the first ever existence of the femo-team. After a high-energy-pink-pilates-princess Chappel Roan audition our amazing group was formed, and soon we danced under the very iconic name KOBRA, based on the artist of one of the songs in our mix. The year with all its competitions has been an amazing experience, and we are thrilled to continue working on new stuff! Stay tuned for more exciting things 😉
