Dance Groups

The HipHop Demo Team is part of our classes, but as a group also perform on a variety of events. The group consists of experienced dancers, with their own Team Captain Benjamin, who are trained by our HipHop teacher Jeroen Groot. To join this group you have to audition.

The Demo Team prepares for competitions every year and performances like MomenTUm, DemoDanceEvening and Showcase.

THE Salsa Demo Team of Footloose!! With rich and tasty salsa moves, this demo team is dedicated to perform on events and shows. It is also part of the regular Footloose classes, as the highest salsa level, but with a little extra sass and cool stunts. The team first performed at the Showcase of 2023, where a group of dedicated salsa lovers worked their hardest to perform a very challenging choreography in all shiny outfits. Coming years we plan to perform on many more occasions under the guidance of Rinus Cannegieter! You have to audition to join the demo team, but don't worry! Hard work and determination gets you far 🙂

EatMahEggroll is a dance group with it's main style HipHop, thanking the name to the creative input of Mandy. This group started out as simply a group of friends training together after class. Now this group has evolved to a more refined dance group, expanding is size of members very quickly.

EatMahEggroll performed within and outside of Footloose, such as the DemoDanceEvening, Showcase 2019, MomenTUm livestream 2020 and Lunafestival.

Panic at the Discord is a dance group that focuses on K-pop dance covers! As the group name 'Panic at the Discord' may also suggest, the group was created when they still had to learn choreos over Discord, due to Covid restrictions. Nevertheless, as a group of friends, they managed to have a lot of fun learning the dances together. This fun continues to this day, and Panic at the Discord still actively performs a range of dance covers, sharing their love for K-pop.

Up until now, the group performed at several Demo Dance Evenings and Showcases, as well as events such as the 'Heroes like you' Lustrum Festival, the TU/e introduction week and the opening of Neuron. Breeze is a contemporary dance group that embodies fluidity, strength, and emotional depth. Their style blends modern and lyrical dance, characterized by sweeping, graceful movements that feel like the wind itself. Each performance is rooted in connection, with the dancers moving as a unified force—sometimes soft and flowing, other times bold and powerful.

Breeze participated for the first time in the showcase from 2023 with the song 'The Wind'! You can watch back our performance on Youtube. That year we also got invited to give a guest performance in the showcase from the student dance association from Nijmegen 'Dance Fever'. You also saw us in the DDE and showcase from last year. Vibes Vibes is a dance group focussing on a fusion of Hiphop, afro and dancehall.

They have performed at the Demo Dance Evening, Showcasem, Dance Group Performance Evening and WinTu/er Village.
