Activity Committee
The activity committee is filled with some of the most enthusiastic members within Footloose. They enjoy organizing activities for all members of Footloose that take place outside of the lessons.
The activity committee is responsible for organizing activities. The ideas for these activities often come from the members themselves. A lot is possible! Examples of activities are beer tasting, a day trip, member outings, or visiting shows sponsored by Footloose.

Advisory Board
The Advisory Body gives requested and unsolicited advice to the board covering all affairs concerning the association. They protect the long term vision of Footloose as a student dancing association, which is determined by the GMM (general members meeting).

Archive Committee
The Archive Committee makes sure the archives of Footloose are complete and ordered.

Bartender Committee
The Bartender Committee consists out of Footloose members who like to bartend during the Footloose drinks. Footloose drinks take place in Hubble. Are you interested in bartending, but don’t know how to do it? Join the bartender committee and learn it from one of our bartenders.

Chefco (Cooking Committee)
The Cooking Committee (ChefCo) cooks for Footloose members before classes in the kitchen of Luna. This is done when committee members have time to cook. With more members in this committee, Footloose members can eat more often together in the living room of Luna. So if you like to cook, please join our great Cook Committee!

Competition Committee
Everything that has to do with competitions, whether it concerns registrations, organization, communication or whatever, ends up with the competition committee.
With regard to competitions, the competition committee is responsible for the timely and correct handling of registrations, ensuring clear advertising and serving as a point of contact for all dancers. The competition committee takes care of the student competitions NTDS and ETDS and the regional competitions of the Brado. The committee consists of a ballroom section and a hip hop section.

DJ-Committee
The DJ Committee of Footloose takes care of all music related matters. This is divided into 3 parts: ensuring an up-to-date music collection, taking care of the equipment and playing music on various occasions.
The DJ Committee takes care of the music during the dance evenings and various other activities. The DJ Committee creates a cozy atmosphere during the dance evenings by playing all kinds of different music. By playing a lot of popular music and less “official” dance music, the dance evenings are often more accessible and atmospheric, but of course the DJ will also play other music on request.
Footloose has a large (legal) music collection. Ballroom, salsa, rock ‘n’ roll and pop music belong to our CD collection. The majority of this is also digitally available on the music computer. New purchases are regularly made to keep the collection up-to-date. Suggestions are always welcome!

Financial Audit Committee
The Financial Control Committee performs a check on the accounting of the board during each year of the board. This includes checking bank statements and cash lists, declarations, incoming / outgoing invoices and digital accounting. The accounting is checked on the basis of five quality aspects:
Reliability – Is everything present and can it be followed? Accuracy – Do the amounts reported correspond to the actual income / expenditure? Completeness – Have all expected revenues been collected? Timeliness – Has a mutation been processed within the period from which it is expected? Lawfulness – Has it been lawfully acted?
At the end of each year, the FCC reports its audit to the GMM. She advises the GMM on the state of accounting and whether the board may be discharged.

Our Gala Committee is thrilled to be working on this year’s Lustrum Gala, building on the incredible success of last year’s event! With last year's Regency-themed gala still fresh in our memories—from elegant dance floors and live music to the crowning of the Diamonds of the Evening—we’re more motivated than ever to create an unforgettable night for everyone.
With new members bringing fresh energy, our team is already hard at work planning every detail to make this Lustrum Gala truly extraordinary. We can’t wait to share what’s in store and look forward to celebrating with you!

ICT Committee
The ICT committee is responsible for the website and making sure the digital side of footloose keeps working. We also create and maintain website/apps to assist the association: from a website to purchase showcase tickets to the PR webshop and the grading system for the dance exams.

Intro Committee
The Intro Committee makes sure Footloose is well promoted during the introweek of the TU/e. They take care of the promotion on the Limbopath, promotion during the green strip market, parties during the evenings and dance workshops. The committee normally starts in Q4. Don't get confused, the committee has new members every year 🙂

Latin Fest Committee
The Latin Fest Committee is responsible for organizing the Latin Fest. This festival is a day dedicated to Latin dance. It will be filled with live music, tasty food and a lot of fun workshops in different Latin styles, like Salsa, Kizomba and Bachata. We proudly presents to you the first ever edition of the festival: Capybaila! Featuring dances, workshops, live music, DJs, and of course Capybaras! More information can be found on capybaila.nl
The Latin Fest Committee is relatively new and has a lot of freedom to decide what the festival will look like, so if you have a love for Latin Dance and want to help with organizing the next edition of this fantastic festival, feel free to send us an email.

Lustrum Committee
The Lustrum committee is a special committee that organizes fun activities to celebrate the Lustrum year. Typically, a Lustrum year is an anniversary year defined by the year being divisable by five in which we celebrate the associations community, achievements and growth. This is usually done by organizing events like a Lustrum gala, workshops, performances or other fun non-dance related activities. However, it is fully up to the committee to decide what events they want to organize for the Lustrum year. The upcoming year will be the 7th Lustrum year for Footloose!

PaparazCie
PaparazCie attends Footloose activities to memorize the funny and beautiful moments in photographs and videos. We also focus a lot on shooting dance videos since last year. In our committee you are free to photograph in your own style and to get creative. When you have no prior experience with photography or videography, you are also welcome to join and learn how to handle a camera!

PR Committee
The PR committee is working on everything related to the external and internal promotion of the association. We are responsible for, among other things: the Footloose merchandise; social media; sponsoring; and help organizing external performances as promotion for the association, such as at MomenTUm. We are also looking into the house style and the image of the association. In doing so, we are working on designs of our merchandise, banners, social media posts, posters and the website, and are responsible for the Footloose promotion videos. If you have any idea that puts Footloose in the spotlight, like to contact external parties or think along, feel free to join!

Showcase Committee
Our committee members enjoy organizing a show on a large scale with many stakeholders. The goal of the showcase is to broadcast the dance styles of Footloose to a broad audience. It is also an event for Footloose members to experience dancing on a stage and show what they have learned to family and friends.
Besides the Showcase, the committee organizes promotional events, sells tickets, and has contact with choreographers and dancers. There is room for creative freedom which is nice to brainstorm about with the team. Being part of the Showcase Committee is not only fun, but it is also educational. It is great to see how you can organize a large-scale performance! It takes budgeting, promoting, planning, communicating, teamwork, and so much more!!

TechCo
TechCo loves working backstage to make all the performances at Footloose look extra special. We do lights and sound at events like the Demo Dance Evening and the Dance Exam. We also make sure everything keeps working in Orbit.
We’re looking for new members, so if you think this is something for you we’ll be happy to show you the ropes!

Vacation Committee
The Footloose Weekend trip committee is responsible for organising a weekend trip in which all members of the association can participate. This weekend usually takes place in the first or second week of the summer holiday. However, this does not mean that the committee doesn’t have anything to do during the dancing season. During that time, the committee finds a location to stay, thinks up an awesome theme to submerge the entire weekend in and also numerous activities to keep everyone busy during the weekend. The last trip before COVID-19 was a huge success, and the goal for 2022 is to make it an even bigger one. Sounds like fun? This year’s trip is in good hands, but some more are needed. If you would like to help out, let the committee know so you can ask any questions you have or so you can join a meeting!

Yearbook Committee
The Yearbook committee is responsible for creating the yearbook. This includes creating a design and writing texts about all the fun stuff that happens here at Footloose!
