Welcome to the Footloose student dance association!
If you love dancing or just want to try it out for a first, this is the place to be!
We give dance courses in different styles and levels, for both solo dances and couple dances. If you want to know more about the courses you can find out more on dance courses. If you are already interested, at the start of every semester there is a free introduction dance evening (also known as the ‘DSTO’) were you can join workshops of every dance style we offer, followed by two weeks of free classes to try out the dance classes you like!
What does this association offer?
Footloose is more than just a dancing association. We are also a student association, and therefore organize activities outside of the dance courses, which you can find on the event page. All activities are organised by our committee members, who form the core of Footloose. Themed dance evenings, prom, beer & wine tastings, movie nights, Just Dance evenings, Christmas Dinner, weekend trip and many more activities can be found on our agenda. Every Wednesday there is either a social dance evening, bar night or training evening. If you are interested in our committees, these can be found on the committees page! Check out our gallery for an impression of who we are! Did you know that Footloose has also his own Footloose Dance? It’s inspired by the movie ‘Footloose’ which is always a perfect closing dance at dance evenings and the Showcase. If you want to know this dance, come to Footloose!
