About the Advisory Board
The Advisory Board consists mostly of old Footloose board members, as well as active members of Footloose or old board members of other associations. The Advisory Board gives both solicited and unsolicited advice on all affairs concerning the association. This advice acts in the best interest of Footloose and protects the long-term vision of Footloose as a student dancing association, which is determined by the General Members Meeting.
Need advice about ideas, concerns or issues within Footloose?
The advice from the Advisory Board is usually requested by or given to the board. However, the Advisory Board is also here to support the entire association and all its members. If you as a member have an idea, concern, or issue, feel free to reach out to the Advisory Board by emailing or talking to one of us personally. Especially when directly contacting the board is undesired or not an option, the Advisory Board is here to help.

Elise Crauwels
Hello! I am Elise, and I am in my last year of the master Sustainable Energy Technology. I was secretary of Footloose in 2022-2023. Currently I dance feminine and ballroom, but I also danced ballet, salsa and hiphop. I am also part of the Musical Dance Group and the lustrum committee. I am one of the newest members of the advisory board. I like to share my experiences with the board and Footloose as a whole and help where I can!
Emma Pelkmans
Hi, I’m Emma! I am currently in the first year of my masters program. I am studying Human Technology Interaction and Urban Systems and Real Estate, a lot, I know haha. I was the chair of the 34th board, which I really enjoyed. Over the years I’ve tried out five of the styles Footloose has to offer but I am currently dancing ballet and feminine. I have been a part of the advisory board for almost a year now and really enjoy helping the board and members out wherever I can. Feel free to come up and chat with me if you ever have any questions, I’ll be around Luna a lot and especially in Hubble as I am currently doing a board year there:)
Jessie van Nuenen
Hey everyone! I am Jessie, currently part of the board of Hubble and former Commissioner of Dance affairs of the 33rd board of Footloose (2022-2023). I’ve been dancing for quite some years and have done several styles and groups. I have danced hiphop and feminine and I am still part of dance groups Panic at the Discord and Breeze. This is my 3rd year being a part of the advisory board of Footloose. If you ever have any questions or just want to have a chat, feel free to reach out! ☺
Tess van Alphen
Hi! My name is Tess, I recently graduated from Biomedical Engineering and I was the chair of the 32nd board, in 2021-2022. I’ve danced almost every dance style at Footloose, but currently dance Feminine and am part of the dance group Panic at the Discord, where we dance K-pop💃🏻 I have been on the advisory board for almost 4 years now, and I really enjoy helping our board and members with any issues. Yuki Kamio
Hi! I’m Yuki and I’m in my last year of Medical Engineering masters. I was a board member of Footloose in year 2019-2020. I have tried many different dance styles in Footloose and currently I follow the ballet and ballroom courses. Besides that, I dance with EatMahEggroll for a couple of years now. My board year was a tough but fun year and I’ve learned a lot about the association. As a member of the Advisory Board, I’d like to help and think together with the members of the association to make Footloose a place where everyone can feel home.
